The full onsite continuation of the Eurekaweek can only be possible by using the CoronaCheck app. This app gives you a corona admission ticket when you have tested negative, got proof of recovery or are fully vaccinated. For most events taking place during the Eurekaweek, a corona admission ticket in the CoronaCheck app is required.
The app works both ways, if you have a digid and bsn, you can put your proof of vaccination/recovery in the app. The CoronaCheck app is also a validation system for events. This is the validation system that the Eurekaweek organization uses to check QR-codes of the participants.
So, the CoronaCheck app scans qr-codes. It determines whether the proof of vaccination or proof of recovery is valid. You can either use a valid qr-code in the coronacheck app (mostly for Dutch students, or students that have been living here for a while) as mentioned before, or an EU Digital Covid Certificate (DCC) that is valid in the Netherlands. If you want to make sure that your DCC is valid here in the Netherlands you can call the service desk of the GGD or the RIVM.
If you are not in possession of one of these, you can always use “testenvoortoegang” (testing for entry). For this test you will not need a bsn, and it is free of charge. You can make appointments at: https://www.testenvoortoegang.org/
Keep in mind: the test is only valid for 24 hours and you need a valid code for every event
You can test yourself on the corona virus before and during the week using the foundation Testen voor Toegang. A negative test needs to be no older than 24 hours, so you need to test a couple of times during the week. Testen voor Toegang has several sites in Rotterdam where you can do a corona test.
